Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc: Gov’t reiterates pledge to administrative reform

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Wednesday asked his inferiors to seriously put the administrative procedure reform into reality.

According to the latest report provided by the Administrative Procedure Controlling Department, the Government has issued 25 resolutions to streamline a large number of administrative procedures for people and enterprises.

The Department has set up a series of instruments to evaluate the influences of administrative procedures and calculate the cost of administrative procedure compliance in accordance with the national reality and international standards.

The second phase of the National Public Administrative Reform Project (Project 30) produced initial positive outcomes which have contributed to boosting production, combating corruption, sharpening the competitive edge of localities in general and the country in general, said Mr. Phúc.

The Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked the Department to inspect and review the fulfillment of the issued 25 resolutions in order to put the administrative procedure reform into reality.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc also noted the importance of personnel competence, dissemination and mobilization of international assistance for the on-going reform./.
